The Wrangell Police Department consists of sixteen personnel which include Sworn Officers, Dispatch/Correctional Officers and Reserve Officers. All Sworn Officers also hold Special Commissions as Alaska State Troopers and U.S. Customs. They routinely enforce State and Federal Laws in and out of the Wrangell area due to limited man-power in all agencies. Inter-agency cooperation is vital when working in these types of environments.
