Bi-Annual Tourism Stakeholder Meeting
Meeting Notice

The Economic Development Department will host a pre-season Tourism Stakeholder Meeting on Thursday, April 25^th, 2024, at 9:00 AM at City Hall, in the Assembly Chambers. This meeting is intended for businesses that operate within or provide services to the Tourism Industry. This includes tribal partners, agency partners, tour operators, accommodation providers, restaurants, and other related businesses and organizations.

There will be staff from the Economic Development, Nolan Center, Parks & Recreation, Ports & Harbors, Public Works, Public Safety Departments and Management present at the meeting. There may be a quorum of the Wrangell Convention and Visitors Bureau. No action will be taken at this meeting.

The agenda includes the distribution and review of the 2024 cruise ship schedule, review of transportation and staging logistics, review and solicitation of signed Tourism Best Management Practice agreements, updates on in-market visitor amenities and information, visitor survey plans and procedures, petroglyph beach permitting progress, review of the 24/25 Travel Guide and distribution plans, partner and marketing division updates.
