Power Update: Diesel Runs to supplement Tyee Hydro
Wrangell & Petersburg have been requested to go on partial diesel generation power in order to slow the draw out of Tyee. Expect that Wrangell will be using diesel generation for at least the next few days, and perhaps longer. The diesel run will begin the afternoon of Saturday, February 16th.

 Remember, things you can do to conserve:
• Turn out lights when not in the room.
• Unplug appliances and electronics when not
in use.
• Take shorter showers.
• Wash laundry in cold water.
• Turn down your thermostat.
• Use diesel or wood heat sources if you have
the option.
