RFQ D1 Aggregate

Description:
The City & Borough of Wrangell (CBW) Public Works Department is seeking quotes from local material suppliers for aggregate base for road construction specified as follows: D-1 (¾” minus- 1” minus) Aggregate Base. Material must be clean. Contaminated or recycled (previously used) material will be rejected.

Quantity: 750 Cubic Yards.

Delivery: The quote should include the cost per cubic yard of the material delivered to the CBW Rock Quarry on Zimovia Highway. Delivery of material must be complete no later than October 2nd, 2022. The successful supplier shall coordinate delivery of the material with the CBW Public Works Department. A representative from Public Works is required to be on site to receive the material.

Submission Deadline/Requirements:
Quotes are due no later than 12:00pm (Noon) Alaska Daylight Savings Time on Friday, September 9th, 2022. Quotes may be submitted by email or by hand delivery. Emailed quotes shall be sent to Tom Wetor, Public Works Director, at twetor@wrangell.com with the subject line Aggregate Quote. Hand delivered quotes shall be delivered to the Public Works Shop on Case Avenue in an envelope addressed to Tom Wetor, marked Aggregate Quote.
