This Thursday at 5pm or so, we will be hosting a traditional foods potluck to celebrate the Native Heritage of Wrangell and the traditional values that unify Wrangell's diverse community.

Already we've had a lot of food donated, including deer meat, seaweed, black cod, halibut, moose, beach asparagus, and mountain goat. I know many people are digging through their pantries and freezers to find their favorite local foods to share.

T&H Head Start Program is excited to perform the songs they've been practicing and other demonstrations of culture they've been learning.

The older dancers in the community are also looking forward to performing the Wrangell songs.
There's a good chance we WON'T try to get down to the Shakes House, if the weather stays this cold. An icy bridge will just make the clan house inaccessible. In that case we WILL still dance at the newly renovated SNO Building.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!
