USFS Tongass Sustainable Cabin Management Plan

Wrangell Cabin Users!!  The US Forest Service is developing a Tongass Sustainable Cabin Management Strategy.  If you use the Forest Service Cabins in the Wrangell Ranger District – PLEASE respond to the survey.

There is less funding and more competition for the recreation dollars that are used to maintain cabins across the region.  Cabins that receive minimal use could be discontinued, or perhaps there are partnership opportunities.  Please comment on the cabins you like and why certain cabins are important to you.  We would not want to see important cabins lost in our district due to economies of scale and because we are a smaller community.
