Water Tank Storage Addition
The Water Tank Storage Addition project consisted of constructing a second water storage tank. The project included excavating existing fill, placing engineered fill, installing DIP water lines and valves, building a concrete foundation and slab floor, and erecting a steel tank.
This project was made possible through grant funds received from The State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation.
The engineering design was provided by Wilson Engineering in Seattle, Washington, and the construction service was provided by Johnson Construction & Supply, Inc. in Wrangell, Alaska.
The project was completed in September 2010.
