Multi Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan

In January 2019, an initial draft of the proposed Hazard Mitigation Plan was made available for review and comments.   The Borough's comments for each draft are listed below. In the Fall of 2019, the State submitted the Plan to FEMA for approval. March 10, 2020, FEMA approved the Plan.   The Plan, with recommended updates identified over the last year, was presented to the Assembly on March 20, 2020 and the Resolution to adopt is attached.  The Plan will also go to the Wrangell Cooperative Association and Tlingit-Haida Central Council for adoption.
