Spring Clean-up: Free Dump Days

SPRING CLEAN-UP and FREE DUMP DAYS

IN APRIL and MAY

• Saturday, April 14th - Wrangell Pride Cleanup: The Landfill will only accept garbage in the yellow bags from the Wrangell pride cleanup for free.

• Tuesday, April 24th through Saturday, April 28th -- The Landfill will accept yard debris, brush, clean wood, and other burnables for free.

• Tuesday, May 1st through Saturday, May 5th – The Landfill will accept cars that have fluids, tires, and battery removed for free. The Landfill will also accept household appliances, tires, batteries, and sorted metals for free.

• Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th – Annual Household Hazardous Waste Event: The Landfill will accept up to 200 pounds of various types of household hazardous wastes for free.

As always, aluminum cans and paper are accepted for free anytime.
All other materials will be accepted for the normal disposal fees.
