During the Regular Assembly Meeting of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, starting at 7:00 PM in the Wrangell Borough Assembly Chambers at 205 Brueger Street, Wrangell, Alaska, there will be a PUBLIC HEARING on the following item(s):
a. RESOLUTION No. 06-25-1950 OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE CITY AND BOROUGH OF WRANGELL, ALASKA, ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR ALL FUNDS OF THE CITY AND BOROUGH OF WRANGELL, ALASKA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026
b. RESOLUTION No. 06-25-1953 OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE CITY AND BOROUGH OF WRANGELL, ALASKA, APPROVING THE AMENDED FEES AND RATES SCHEDULE

Public Hearing Notice & Right to Protest
As per WMC 16.12.040, notice is hereby given that a request to purchase Borough owned Tidelands consisting of approximately 30,423 total square feet of tidelands, described as Lots 14A and 15A, Block 84A, Parcel No’s. 02-015-111 and 02-015-113, adjacent to John Agostine’s upland property on Peninsula Street, requested by John Agostine, for the purpose of improving and possibly expanding the site.
The Wrangell Planning & Zoning Commission and Port Commission have reviewed this request and approved the request to move forward with the Tidelands Purchase.
Any person wishing to protest this application to purchase the proposed Borough owned Property described as:
Approximately 30,423 square feet of tidelands described as Lots 14A and 15A, Block 84A, Parcel No’s 02-015-111 and 02-015-113 Peninsula Street
...must file a written protest with the Borough Clerk, no later than June 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
Written protests may be emailed to clerk@wrangell.com or delivered to 205 Brueger Street, Wrangell, AK 99929. Any such protest shall state the reason(s) for the protest in detail.
During the Regular Assembly meeting of June 24, 2025 at City Hall, beginning at 7:00pm, in the Borough Assembly Chambers, there will be a Public Hearing for the Assembly to approve or deny moving forward with the sale of Borough-owned Tidelands to John Agostine.
