Public Notice - Vacancy on the Special Energy Committee

PUBLIC NOTICE

The City & Borough of Wrangell is accepting Letters of Interest for one vacancy to serve on the newly formed Special Energy Committee.

Letters of Interest can be submitted to the Office of the Borough Clerk, City & Borough of Wrangell, P.O. Box 531, Wrangell, AK 99929, or dropped off at City Hall located at 205 Brueger Street, until 5:00 p.m., April 9, 2013.

Email letters of interest are also accepted at clerk@wrangell.com

This is a Special Committee that will meet once a month or more until the task is completed of reviewing the City and Borough of Wrangell’s options as it relates to the MOU created in 2008. Specifically, the future individual sale of the Southeast Alaska Power Agency Hydroelectric Projects. The committee will report any desired action to the Borough Assembly for consideration.
