COVID UPDATE

The Wrangell Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was notified today, November 12, 2021 of six (6) new positive COVID cases. 

• All six individuals are Wrangell residents. There is no additional information available.  

Our current case count is at twenty-three (23)

Please take individual steps to protect yourself and your family.

• Isolate yourself if you feel any cold-like symptoms and get tested for COVID-19 as soon as possible.
• Avoid crowded places and gatherings; keep social circles small.
• Stay at least 6 feet away from people outside of your household.
• Have a mask on when you are around people outside of your household – even if you can maintain a 6-foot distance from others.
• Take advantage of free, asymptomatic testing and test regularly.
• Wash your hands often and disinfect commonly touched surfaces and objects.
