GARBAGE COLLECTION AND LANDFILL NOTICE (4th of July Schedule)
Garbage normally collected on Friday will be collected on Monday, July 6, 2026. Your garbage collection may be earlier than usual, please have cans out by 8:00 in the morning.
Landfill will be closed on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

During the Regular Assembly Meeting of Tuesday, December 16, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM in the Wrangell Borough Assembly Chambers at 205 Brueger Street, Wrangell, Alaska, there will be a PUBLIC HEARING on the following item(s):
With very cold temperatures expected over the next several days, Wrangell Municipal Light & Power (WML&P) is asking residents to help reduce electrical use where possible. When regional SEAPA loads approach their maximum, WMLP may need to operate our diesel units to cover peak demand, which can result in additional diesel-related costs on customer bills.
