Zimovia Hwy Water main shut down
In order to facilitate the second tie in for the Alder Top Subdivision, the water main going out towards Zimovia Hwy will need to be temporarily shut down again.
This work is expected to take place on Thursday, October 9th from 8:30am until around 1:00pm.
WRANGELL, AK – Beginning Tuesday, July 29th, the Alder Top Village Subdivision site and roads will be fully closed to all traffic (vehicular and pedestrian). This closure is necessary for the subdivision utility and road surfacing project, which involves installing water, sewer, and electric utilities, as well as surfacing the road for the 1st phase of the subdivision.
The project is expected to be completed, and the roads will be reopened by November 30, 2025.
WRANGELL, AK – Beginning Monday, August 4th, St. Michaels Street will be fully closed to all traffic (vehicular and pedestrian) between Front Street and Church Street. This closure is necessary for the St. Michaels Street Reconstruction Project, which involves replacing water, sewer, and stormwater pipes, as well as rebuilding sidewalks and the roadway.
The project is expected to be completed, and the road will be reopened by October 30, 2025.
