DMV TO REOPEN – LIMITED HOURS AND SERVICES
 

Wrangell, AK – The Borough will reopen the Department of Motor Vehicles office to the Public, by appointment only, the week of November 23, 2020. The schedule will be variable due to holidays and training. As stipulated by the State of Alaska, only certain services may be obtained in person at this time.

               Tuesdays – Thursdays              Appointment Only                      Call 874-3304

               Closed November 26th and 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

               Appointments full through 12/3/2020 from rescheduling previous cancellations.

               Appointments very limited in December due to staff training 12/7-12/18.

Limited Service

As required by the State of Alaska, all DMV transactions must be done remotely except:

•                Real IDs (Deadline extended to 10/1/2021)
•                Original Driver Licenses
•                Original IDs
•                Select Identity Renewals
