Engineering Services for Wrangell Port Development and Port Expansion Projects
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from experienced engineering firms to provide comprehensive engineering and technical services for federally funded infrastructure projects. Specifically, the Borough has or is pursuing funding through the U.S. DOT/MARAD Port Infrastructure Development Program (“PIDP”) and an Economic Development Administration (“EDA”) FY2025 Disaster Supplemental Grant Program grant opportunity for Port Development and Port Expansion Projects.
We are seeking firms with a strong record in successfully assisting local governments with federally assisted port development and economic development projects. Services required will include, but are not limited to, Preliminary Engineering Reports (PER), condition assessment, survey, geotechnical analysis, final design, permitting, and construction administration and inspection services.
Evaluation criteria will encompass firm history, federal funds engineering experience, key personnel qualifications, current workload, proposed service scope, project references, and fee percentages.

- Priority Project #2: Deep Water Port Development (PIDP Planning Project)
- Priority Project #3: Future Contract Amendments (60-Month Period)

Statements of Qualifications are due in the office of the Borough Clerk until 10:00 AM prevailing time on November 13, 2025 (modified under Addendum No 1).
