Invitation to Bid - Meyers Chuck Harbor Replacement - Float Installation

Notice is hereby given that the City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska will receive sealed bids for the construction of the MEYER’S CHUCK HARBOR REPLACEMENT – FLOAT INSTALLATION project.  WORK includes all activities necessary to replace the floats at the Meyers Chuck Harbor. The WORK generally consists of all labor, materials and equipment to perform mobilization, construction surveying, demolition and disposal of existing floats, delivery and installation of Owner-provided floats, salvage and reinstall existing gangway, pile removal and installation, protected species observation, floatation billets, anodes, and other improvements as identified in the project documents. The Engineer’s Estimate is approximately $1,400,000.

Sealed bids will be received by the City and Borough of Wrangell, Post Office Box 531, Wrangell, Alaska 99929, located at the Borough Clerk’s Office, 205 Brueger Street, Wrangell, Alaska 99929, or by email sent to: bids@wrangell.com, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on May 30, 2025, at which time they shall be opened and read aloud.

The Contract Documents may be downloaded free of charge on the City & Borough of Wrangell website (www.wrangell.com) under the Bids and RFPs section.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, or to make award as it best serves the interests of the OWNER.
