REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

for Design Services for the

Shoemaker Bay Float Replacement Project

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City & Borough of Wrangell, Alaska invites sealed proposals for design of the following project: Shoemaker Bay Float Replacement Project.

This project consists of providing design for the complete demolition and replacement of all floats, pilings, and utilities within the Shoemaker Bay Harbor and design of parking lot improvements and resurfacing as well as obtaining all required permitting.

Sealed proposals will be received in the Office of the Borough Clerk, City & Borough of Wrangell, P.O. Box 531, Wrangell, Alaska 99929, until 10:00 A.M. local time, on January 20th, 2015.

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held in the Borough Assembly Chambers, 205 Brueger Street, at 11:00 a.m., Alaska Time on January 6, 2015. Proposal Documents may be obtained from the office of the Borough Clerk, Kim Lane at City hall, 205 Brueger Street in Wrangell, Alaska, telephone number (907) 874-2381, email clerk@wrangell.com, or downloaded from the City and Borough of Wrangell website (www.wrangell.com) under the “Projects” section.  Downloading Contract Documents from the City & Borough of Wrangell’s website requires registration with Borough Clerk to be placed on the Document Holders List and to ensure receipt of subsequent Addenda.  Failure to register may adversely affect your proposal.  It is the Offeror’s responsibility to insure that they have received all Addenda affecting this Solicitation.
