Etolin Avenue Road Closure

PUBLIC NOTICE – ROAD CLOSURE

Dawson Construction – SEARHC Wrangell Medical Center Project

Beginning May 16, 2019 and running through approximately December 2020, the Etolin Avenue roadway will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles as an access to the AICS Medical Clinic. 

Dawson Construction will be utilizing the north end of SEARHC’s medical campus property for staging and construction activities related to the future SEARHC hospital facility.  Due to its close proximity to the construction site, the south end of Etolin Avenue, as access to the SEARHC medical campus and the AICS Medical Clinic, will be closed to both pedestrian and vehicular traffic throughout the duration of the construction period. 

Construction activities have begun.  Restricted access at the south end of Etolin Avenue will commence immediately and will be continuous until project completion.  Arrangements have been made with emergency response agencies for access as needed. 

All pedestrian and vehicle traffic are required to use Wood Street as access to the AICS Medical Clinic.
