LED Street Light Conversion~Bid Award

Dear Ms. Schultz (Sea Tac Lighting LLC): 

This is notification that the Borough Assembly awarded and approved the following items at their regular assembly meeting on October 25, 2011.

1. Awarded the bid to Sea Tac Lighting LLC for (75) Leotek model GCA1-60E-NW-2-GY-700 lights at $479 each and (237) Leotek model GCA-40E-MV-2-GY-700 lights at $367 each, for a total cost of $122,904.

2. Approved the grant surplus be put towards the purchase of (25) light shields to redirect any glare from the lights away from residences.  These shields cost $40 each and are specific to the Leotek models.  And, to approve the purchase of an additional (25) Leotek model GCA1-60E-MV-2-GY-700 units and (27) Leotek model GCA1-40E-MV-2-GY-700 units.
