Sewer Pumps Replacement Project – Public Information Meeting

The City and Borough of Wrangell will hold a Public Information Meeting to provide information about the progress of the Sewer Pumps Replacement Project which is currently underway. 

New pumps are being installed at Node 4, and Node 6.  With Node 4 near completion, and Node 6 work in progress, the new pumps will service 80% of the sewage Wrangell produces.  The new pumps will also have the capacity to accommodate population growth.

There will be access limitations when the project is underway at the Node 6 site.  The Case Avenue boat ramp will be unavailable approximately from mid-April to early May.

This project is provided by the multi-agency funding of the Community Development Block Grant which is funded by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as well as the United States Department of Agriculture, (USDA).
