Wrangell Reservoirs and Dams

Wrangell's Upper and Lower Dam System consists of two earth-filled dams and reservoirs which provide the water supply to the City and Borough of Wrangell.  The dams and reservoirs are on Mill Creek, and most of the surface water in the watershed drains down steep rock slopes to the southeast side of the reservoirs.

The Upper Reservoir has a maximum storage capacity of 190 acre feet, and the Lower Reservoir has a maximum stored capacity of 102 acre feet.
