ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITION OF
Temporary Workers
Public Works Department

 

The City & Borough of Wrangell will accept applications for the pool of Temporary Workers for the Public Works Department beginning June 26, 2019 until filled.  You must have a valid Alaska Drivers license.  A CDL license is preferred but not required. 

 

The work will include but not be limited to street and sidewalk repairs and cleaning, cutting and hauling brush, painting, and working with Public Works Employees on special projects and other projects as needed. It may include assistance at the Water or Wastewater Treatment plants. 

Temporary employees with a valid CDL license may be assigned additional duties including driving trucks and operating small tractors.  Workers may also be required to work on emergency sewer and water repairs and must be able to work in all weather conditions, nights and weekends. 

 

These positions will be filled on a temporary as needed basis.
