BOAT HAULOUT PIER STRUCTURAL UPGRADES
Funding for the Boat Haulout Pier Structural Upgrades project is a State of Alaska's Designated Legislative Grant and comes from the Division of Regional and Community Affairs' Department of Commerce Community and Economic Development (DCCED). Engineering design services for the project were provided by PND Engineers, Juneau, Alaska.

WRANGELL MARINE SERVICE CENTER
BOAT HAULOUT PIER STRUCTURAL UPGRADES
Notice is hereby given that the City and Borough of Wrangell, Alaska will receive sealed bids for the construction of Wrangell Marine Service Center – Boat Haulout Pier Structural Upgrades.
The Work consists of all activities necessary to construct the Wrangell Marine Service Center Boat Haulout Pier Structural Upgrades, which includes strengthening the concrete deck from below by installing steel beams and grouting between the beams and the concrete deck. The Engineer’s Estimate for the Base Bid is between $800,000 and $950,000.
Sealed bids will be received by the City and Borough of Wrangell, Post Office Box 531, Wrangell, Alaska 99929, or located at the Borough Clerk’s Office, 205 Brueger Street, Wrangell, Alaska 99929, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on April 18, 2013.
Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a Pre-Bid Conference that will be held in Wrangell on April 9, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM at the City and Borough Council Chambers.
The Contract Documents, including one set of reduced scale drawings, may be obtained at the office of the Borough Clerks Office, 205 Brueger Street, Wrangell, Alaska 99929 (Ph. 907-874-2381). The Contract Documents may also be downloaded free of charge on the City and Borough of Wrangell website (www.wrangell.com) under the Bids and RFP’s section. Downloading Contract Documents from the City and Borough of Wrangell’s website requires registration with the Borough Clerk in order to be placed on the Plan holders List and to ensure receipt of subsequent Addenda.
