Meet the Artist

Ray "Bubba" Sorensen II will be in Wrangell during the painting of the Freedom Rock®.

Residents and visitors will have opportunities to meet the artist, observe the painting process, hear the stories behind the artwork, and participate in community events throughout the project.

Upcoming Event - Veteran's Memorial Potluck:

You are cordially invited to the Veteran's Memorial Potluck, hosted by the City & Borough of Wrangell. You will also have the chance to meet with Bubba. Everyone, including veterans, are welcome to attend this special event. Please bring a dish to share. Come, meet the artist, and enjoy a nice meal with CBW staff.
