Skilled Workforce

Wrangell's workforce is large and varied in skills and education. There is a professional class associated with medical services, educational services and natural resource management. Skilled workers include trained marine operators, machinists, marine welding, marine and auto mechanics, and full spectrum of construction trades, residential, commercial and heavy equipment. There is also an underutilized workforce suitable for manufacturing and mechanical production jobs.
