HUBZone Application for Federal Government Contracting

Calendar Date:
Thursday, December 8, 2016 - 2:00pm to 5:00pm

HUBZone Application Live!

Would you like to contract with the USFS or other federal agency?

HUBZone is a small business certification issued by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Federal buyers can set-aside solicitations, restricting competition for HUBZone certified companies as long as there are at least two HUBZone certified companies with the solicitation NAICS code.

The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities.

To qualify for the program the business:
1. Is a small business and principal owner is a US Citizen,
2. Principal office is located in a HUBZone region, and
3. 35% of the employees reside in a HUBZone.

The purpose of this workshop is for each business to complete the application from start to finish. The workshop will work everyone through the application at the same pace with time for questions and one-on-one assistance.
