Path to Prosperity Business Competition (P2P)

Path to Prosperity Business Competition was open to all southeast Alaska entrepreneurs. Wrangell's own Wrangell Cooperative Assocation, was selected as one of the winners! Congratulations! (We have had two other Wrangellites succeed in past years)

Path to Prosperity Business Competition is open to all southeast Alaska entrepreneurs.  Whether you are in early stage startup, or an established company looking to expand and diversify, this competition could provide the seed funding necessary to develop your business concept.

The competition is sponsored by Haa Aani Community Development Fund and The Nature Conservancy. The program aims to launch growth companies that will increase local employment, have positive social and economic impact on their communities, promote sustainable use of local resources, and increase entrepreneurial know how and business leadership in Southeast Alaska. 

Round 1 is the registration process and submittal of a description of the business concept.  Up to 12 entries will be selected to continue to Round 2.

Round 2 is when the selected participants receive substantial coaching in business planning and indivdualized advice for their plan.  An all expense paid Business Boot Camp to help with organization, financing, management, marketing etc will be provided to the 12 selected finalists.

Final business plans will be judged by an independent panel of business leaders and up to 2 business winners will be selected for up to $40,000 in seed funding for consulting/technical assistance on developing further their concept.
